DILR Library

Updated: May 28, 2023

Solve at least 4-5 DILR sets daily from these resources, and note down key learnings from unique sets.

Level - 0

  • Sudoku : For beginners who are struggling in DILR and wanted to develop their logical thinking ability, solving 1-2 Sudoku puzzles daily would help. Easy and medium-level puzzles should be fine. Sudoku helps you solve the grid arrangement kind of puzzle where you need to arrange multiple parameters in a set. Sudoku App - Link

  • Kakuro : This helps to get familiar with the addition of small numbers mentally and play with numbers in DI kind of sets. Let's say I want to add 3 distinct single-digit natural numbers to get a sum of 7. The only possible case is 1,2,4. This intuitively comes to you after some practice. • People finding it difficult to understand graphs can check out graphs/data points in daily newspapers to get acclimatised to them. This exercise helps to understand and interpret data easily while solving different kinds of graphs/charts in DILR.

Level - 1

  • Solve from coaching material ( if you have joined one) and solve sets from traditional topics like Pie charts, bar graphs, Candle charts, routes and networks, etc.,

  • Playlist-1: This a playlist with basic and conventional sets like Tables, Distribution, and Arrangement kind of sets. This would be a good warmup playlist.

  • Playlist-2: This a short playlist and should be completed in a day or two. This would act as a starter playlist and would give a taste of the variety

Level - 2

  • Playlist-3: This playlist helps you to understand the way of approaching the set like an aspirant and not using any fancy ppts, multiple colours or animations. Because as a candidate you just have a pen and paper on D-Day.

  • Playlist-4: This playlist has a wide range of DILR sets. Skip the PYQ sets if you've solved them or want to give them as a test.

  • Solve past year papers (preferably from 2017) with video solutions of quality explanations. If you want to give PYQ papers as mocks/sectionals (which were in the new pattern) don't solve those sets now.

Level - 3

  • Playlist-5: This has some medium to higher difficulty sets. Helps you to amp up your game. It's okay if one is not able to solve some sets or is taking too long to solve here. Learn and understand the approaches.

  • Playlist-6: This has a good mix of sets of varied difficulty. The solutions are very well structured.

The learnings from these two playlists will be huge and one can level up in the DILR section by solving these religiously.

Marathons These aren't revision videos or a one-stop solution for the DILR section. These are just compiled sets of different varieties in a single video. If you still have time you can pick some of the marathon playlists below:

Additional resources:

Resource-1 : This channel has some unique and new kind of sets

NOTE:

It's almost impossible and absolutely not necessary to complete all the resources so pick up playlists according to requirements, and time available and plan accordingly. Don't be overwhelmed and get into FOMO by the resources and there are many more out there. Also, the resources are to be solved to maximize your learning and not to be binge-watched. You just need to get a hang of the sets and be exposed to variety. The levels are just to go in a phase-wise manner and don't reflect the exact difficulty of a playlist.
