Clear your basics. Solve questions daily to be in the rhythm. Note down interesting/tough questions and unique approaches to revise

  • If someone wants to increase their speed in calculations (although it's not completely necessary) can try Vedic maths. Only a few concepts would be sufficient from B-school entrance exams point of view. These tricks might also help you in solving calculation-intensive DI sets and in other OMET exams as well. Link

  • Playlist-1 : This is a basic playlist for beginners to learn some concepts. It is a good warm-up for newbies but not an exhaustive playlist of topics and concepts.

  • Start topics and learn the concepts from any resource you have. Solve LOD-1 and LOD-2 type questions from any material to start with. This practice is of utmost importance and should be the top priority. This gives a reality check on the depth of your understanding.

  • Solve past year papers with video solutions of quality explanations. If you want to give PYQ papers as mocks/sectionals (which were in the new pattern) don't solve those questions now.

  • Playlist-2 : This is a playlist with different concepts in each video. Once you are done with the basic solving of questions, only then start with this playlist.

  • Playlist-3 : It's not about whether you are able to solve it or not. It is about how fast you solve it. This playlist helps you to learn smarter and faster ways of solving a question. It takes some time and dedicated practice to solve through such approaches.

  • Playlist-4 : This playlist is similar to the above one to increase your speed:

Additional Resources

NOTE:

It's almost impossible and absolutely not necessary to complete all the resources (especially for Quant, there are so many videos and resources out there) so pick up playlists according to requirements, and time available and plan accordingly. Don't be overwhelmed and get into FOMO by the resources and there are many more out there. Also, the resources are to be solved to maximize your learning and not to be binge-watched. You need to get a hang of the questions, learn unique methods and be exposed to variety. Follow me on LinkedIn for more!
